Studio 63 Media is a production business run by Neil Ogden.
Neil has been running a business of one form or another for over 30 years. In the 1990s, he published a small business magazine which became well known for exposing scams. Some of the research for the magazine was used in a BBC Wales documentary in 2006.
In 1997, Neil started creating websites for small business, creating and maintaining getting on for a a hundred sites over the following decade or so.
Throughout this time, Neil presented and produced radio shows for Hospital Radio Basingstoke, Kestrel FM in Basingstoke and Wey Valley Radio in Alton.

Video was also in the background as Neil’s dad had had an interest in video cameras and filming and editing since the 1980s, in fact Neil did quite a lot of filming and editing int he 1980s before radio took over, but in 2017, Neil volunteered at the Copper Box arena at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix as one of the camera operatiors of the judges’ review cameras. This reignited an interest in video which was pursued during the pandemic by digitising and re-editing many home videos from over the years most of which were filmed by his dad who had been interested in filming and editing videos for many years.
In 2023, Neil started filming local events with a small Sony camera and putting them on You Tube, and in 2024 decided to get more serious and invested in a Canon C100 Mark II from eBay, a very well respected camera and although over 10 years old, still producing worthy results.
So towards the end of 2024, Neil found himself filming more local events using 2 – 3 cameras and editing videos for paying customers, something that was encouraging enough to continue to pursue video filming and editing.
Although relatively new to videography and editing, some success has been found finding work via the Bark website with all feedback received so far 5 stars.
